Our products are designed with sensitive baby skin in mind. All our products are free of known allergens as your family’s safety is our #1 priority. And since allergens are always changing, we’re constantly keeping an eye out and remaining vigilant on any potential and emerging allergens in our formulas.

For over 125 years, we’ve been creating gentle formulas to address baby’s delicate and unique needs, but our products are also wonderful for kids and adults too. While we recommend a specific age/stage for certain products, any age can enjoy the benefits of our products.

A tear-free experience starts with our NO MORE TEARS® formula. It transforms bath time into playtime and lets parents know that our product is gentle and mild for baby and their sensitive skin and eyes.

The NO MORE TEARS® formulas has been rigorously and comprehensively evaluated for safety and mildness, including:

  • Ingredient and formulation review

  • Clinical assessment for ocular irritation

NO MORE TEARS® products are free of any numbing agents, and specially designed to control the size of the cleansing agents. When formulated correctly, the cleansers form a structure too large to penetrate skin or eyes. It’s a simple concept that requires the perfect combination of expertise and the best ingredients to get just right.

Ingredients

Without preservatives, the everyday products that we rely on would expire within weeks or days. We use preservatives in some of our products to ensure their freshness and shelf-life, and they also protect against potentially harmful bacteria, mold and fungus.

To ensure the use of a safe and sustainable preservative palette, we work with leading professionals from industry, government, academia and consumer groups.

Studies show that the power of fragrance is real – scent can strengthen a bond between parent and baby and assist in the development of baby’s senses. These studies also found that the use of products with fragrance helps reduce infant stress, crying and can enhance sleep as well as the engagement between a parent and baby.

Fragrances, like all other ingredients in our products, are evaluated through our five-step safety assurance process to ensure only high quality and gentle ingredients make it into our products.

JOHNSON’S® fragrances are stringently tested and are safe, following the strict standards of the International Fragrance Association (IFRA). Parents can get peace of mind and feel confident about the ingredients in our labels. Industry-certified experts assess our ingredients to ensure they meet our standards, and our scientific experts test our formulas to guarantee that they are safe for use. Only 25% of the typical toolbox of fragrance ingredients meet our safety standards and are suitable for our gentle baby products.

Products

Generally, we recommend you replace products annually to ensure you’re always getting the best experience. For products that don’t have an expiration date (like cosmetics), a good rule of thumb to follow is that they’re stable for 3 years from the time of manufacture, as long as they’re stored at room temperature or as indicated on the product label.

JOHNSON’S® does not conduct animal testing on any of our cosmetic products, except in the very rare situation where government regulations or laws require us to do so. We’ll never compromise on the quality or safety of the products we provide you and baby.

All our formulas are carefully crafted to be as gentle to the environment as they are on baby’s development – we want baby to grow up and live in a greener world.

Using our latest clinical research and our love of babies, we’ve collaborated with over 25,000 parents to help shape and refine our products. As a result, our packaging design for the NEW JOHNSON’S® incorporates feedback from parents that helped us create even gentler products to help parents grow their bond with baby during those first special moments. ‘Less is more’ is a phrase many parents shared with us, so we’ve challenged ourselves to evaluate our formulas to ensure every ingredient selected was purposeful – it’s not just about science, it’s also about what parents think and babies feel!

Our formulas:

  • Ingredient list has been reduced by 50%

  • Incorporate more naturally-derived oils, like soybean, coconut, or cottonseed in conditioners and moisturizers

  • Use more ingredients of natural origin without compromising on ingredients that make our products mild and gentle for baby

  • Are free of parabens, phthalates, 1,4 dioxane and formaldehyde-releasing preservatives since 2015 from our ongoing reformulation process, and we’re happy to say, all of our washes, shampoos, lotions and creams are gentler without sulfates and dyes*

  • Are free of known allergens, and we continue to push ourselves further to ensure all potential and emerging allergens stay out of our new formulas as the list of allergens is constantly evolving

PARENTS DESERVE THE BEST WITH JOHNSONS® BABY CONTEST RULES

THE PARENTS DESERVE THE BEST WITH JOHNSONS® BABY CONTEST (THE “CONTEST”) IS INTENDED TO BE CONDUCTED IN CANADA ONLY AND SHALL BE CONSTRUED AND EVALUATED ACCORDING TO APPLICABLE CANADIAN LAW. NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY. PARTICIPANTS MUST BE OF THE AGE OF MAJORITY IN THEIR PROVINCE OR TERRITORY OF RESIDENCE OR OLDER AT THE TIME OF ENTRY. VOID IN WHOLE OR PART WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.   1. ELIGIBILITY. To be eligible for this Contest, an individual must:

    • (a) be a legal resident of Canada; 

    • (b) be of the age of majority in his/her province or territory of residence or older at the time of entry;  and

    • (c) agree to comply with the Contest Rules and Regulations. 

      Employees of Kenvue Canada Inc. (the "Sponsor"), their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, related companies, advertising and promotional agencies, and the household members of any of the above, are not eligible to participate in the Contest.
      The Sponsor shall have the right at any time to require proof of identity and/or eligibility to participate in the Contest. Failure to provide such proof may result in disqualification. All personal and other information requested by and supplied to the Sponsor for the purpose of the Contest must be truthful, complete, accurate and in no way misleading. The Sponsor reserves the right, in their sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant should such an entrant at any stage (i) supply untruthful, incomplete, inaccurate or misleading personal details and/or information; or (ii) fail to strictly adhere to these Contest Rules. 

  2. CONTEST PERIOD.
    The Contest begins at 12 AM Eastern Standard Time (“EST”) on January 20th, 2025, and ends at 11:59 PM EST on January 27th, 2025, (the "Contest Period") after which time the Contest will be closed and no further entries shall be accepted.

  3. HOW TO ENTER.

    • (a) NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Enter using the method of entry outlined below. No entries will be accepted by any other means.  To enter the Contest, entrants must visit the  following Influencer Instagram account, locate the “call to action post” (each, a “Contest Post”) on one of the participating influencer accounts, “like” the Contest Post, and comment on the Contest Post with a comment about taking time to relax. (each comment, an “Entry”).

    • INFLUENCER 2 NAME: Cassandra Andrews. Influencer Account Location: @cassolive
      herein collectively referred to as the Influencer(s).
      Entrants must have a valid Instagram account. If Entrant does not already have an Instagram account, one can be opened for free by visiting www.instagram.com or www.tiktok.com by downloading the Instagram application from the Apple Store or Google Play. Entry must comply with Instagram’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy which Entrants can access at http://instagram.com/about/legal/terms/ and https://help.instagram.com/155833707900388, respectively https://support.tiktok.com/en.

    • (b) Limit of one (1) entry per person/Instagram user account.   In the case of multiple entries, only the first eligible entry will be considered.

    • (c) All entries including the rights to the Entry, become the sole property of the Sponsor and none will be returned for any reason. Entries must be received no later than the end of the Contest Period. Entries will be declared invalid if they are late, illegible, incomplete, damaged, irregular, mutilated, forged, garbled, or mechanically or electronically reproduced. No communication or correspondence will be exchanged with entrants except with those selected for a Prize.

    • (d) Entries received online shall be deemed to be submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the Instagram or Tik Tok user/account from which the Entry was submitted. For the purpose of the Contest Rules, “authorized account holder” of an e-mail address is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Each selected entrant may be required to provide the Sponsor with proof that the selected entrant is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the winning entry.

  4. PRIZES

    • (a) There will be a total of six (6) prizes available for the Contest. Three (3) prizes  will be allocated per Influencer and are available to be won during the Contest Period (each, a “Prize”),  consisting of:  (i) four (4) Johnson’s® Products (Johnson’s® Bedtime Lotion 400mL, Johnson’s® Bedtime Moisturizing Wash 400mL, Johnson’s® Soothing Vapor Bath 400mL, Johnson’s® Aloe Oil Gel 200mL); (ii) one (1) shower caddy; (iii) one (1) face cloth; (iv) one (1) baby onesie); (v) one (1) bath tray and one (1) two hundred dollar ($200.00 CAD) Poppy and Peonies (https://poppyandpeonies.com/) e-gift card.  The approximate retail value of each Prize is three hundred and forty dollars ($340.00 CAD).

    • (b) Prizes must be accepted as awarded and cannot be transferred, assigned, substituted, or redeemed for cash, except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. Any unused portion of a Prize will be forfeited and have no cash value. The Sponsor reserve the right, in its and their sole discretion, to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if a Prize (or any portion thereof) cannot be awarded for any reason.

    • (c) The Sponsor shall not assume any liability for lost, damaged or misdirected Prizes.

  5. WINNER SELECTION.
    Three (3) winners shall be selected per Influencer as follows:

    • (a) On or about January 30th, (the “Contest Draw Date”) in Toronto, Ontario, three (3) entrants will be selected by a random draw from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period (each, a “Winner”) per participating Influencer account. The odds of being selected as a potential winner are dependent upon the number of eligible entries received by the Sponsor. Before being declared a Winner, the selected entrant shall be required to correctly answer, without assistance of any kind, whether mechanical or otherwise, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question to be administered during a pre-arranged telephone call or by e-mail, to comply with the Contest Rules and sign and return the Release (described below). The Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, provide an alternate skill-testing question or vary the requirements to perform any skill-testing component of the Contest to accommodate and include the participation of entrants with physical or cognitive disabilities.

    • (b) EACH SELECTED ENTRANT WILL BE NOTIFIED NO LATER THAN TWO (2) BUSINESS DAYS FOLLOWING THE CLOSE OF THE CONTEST PERIOD AND MUST RESPOND WITHIN TWO (2) DAYS OF NOTIFICATION.   The selected entrants will be contacted by Sponsor Instagram Account (the “Sponsor Account”) via a direct message within two (2) business days following the close of the Contest Period (the “Notification”).  Each selected entrant is solely responsible for monitoring his/her Instagram account for such Notification. Upon Notification, the selected entrant must respond by private message to the Sponsor Account, and the selected entrant’s response must be received by the Sponsor within TWO (2) days. If the selected entrant does not respond in accordance with the Contest Rules, he/she fails to comply with the terms of these official Contest Rules or voluntarily withdraws from the Contest, he/she will be disqualified and will not receive a Prize and another entrant may be selected in the Sponsor’s sole discretion until such time as an entrant satisfies the terms set out herein. The Sponsor is not responsible for the failure for any reason whatsoever of a selected entrant to receive notification or for the Sponsor to receive a selected entrant’s response

    • (c) If, as a result of an error relating to the entry process, drawing or any other aspect of the Contest, there are more selected entrants than contemplated in these Contest Rules, there will be a random draw amongst all eligible Prize claimants after the Contest’s closing date to award the correct number of Prizes.

  6. RELEASE. Winners will be required to execute a legal agreement and release (“Release”) that confirms Winner’s (i) eligibility for the Contest and compliance with these Contest Rules; (ii) acceptance of the Prize as offered; (iii) release of the Sponsor and its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates and/or related companies and each of their employees, directors, officers, suppliers, agents, sponsors, administrators, licensees, representatives, advertising, media buying and promotional agencies (collectively, the “Releasees”) from any and all liability for any loss, harm, damages, cost or expense arising out of participation in the Contest, participation in any Contest-related activity or the acceptance, use, or misuse of any Prize, including but not limited to costs, injuries, losses related to personal injuries, death, damage to, loss or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation, or portrayal in a false light, or from any and all claims of third parties arising therefrom; and (iv) grant to the Sponsor of the unrestricted right, in the Sponsor’s discretion, to produce, reproduce, publish, reproduce, convert, broadcast, communicate by telecommunication, exhibit, distribute, translate, adapt and otherwise use and re-use the Winner’s name, photograph, likeness, voice and biography in any and all media now known or hereafter devised, in connection with the Contest and the promotion and exploitation thereof. The executed Release must be returned within two (2) business days the verification as a Winner or the selected entrant will be disqualified and the Prize forfeited.

  7. INDEMNIFICATION BY ENTRANT. By entering the Contest, entrant releases and holds Releasees harmless from any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind to the entrant or any other person, including personal injury, death, or property damage, resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any Prize, participation in the Contest, any breach of the Contest Rules, or in any Prize-related activity. The entrant agrees to fully indemnify Releasees from any and all claims by third parties relating to the Contest, without limitation.

  8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY. The Sponsor assumes no responsibility or liability for lost, late, unintelligible/illegible, falsified, damaged, misdirected, or incomplete entries, notifications, responses, replies or any Release, or for any computer, online, software, telephone, hardware or technical malfunctions that may occur, including but not limited to malfunctions that may affect the transmission or non-transmission of an entry. The Sponsor is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest or by any technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Contest. The Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. The Sponsor is not responsible for any problems, failures or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, providers, computer equipment, software, e-mail, players, or browsers, on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet, at any website, or on account of any combination of the foregoing or otherwise. The Sponsor is not responsible for any injury or damage to entrant or to any computer related to or resulting from participating or downloading materials in this Contest. Entrant assumes liability for injuries caused or claimed to be caused by participating in the Contest, or by the acceptance, possession, use of, or failure to receive any Prize. The Sponsor assumes no responsibility or liability if the Contest cannot be conducted as planned for any reason, including those reasons beyond the control of the Sponsor, such as infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or corruption of the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Contest or the Sponsor’s Instagram Page.

  9. CONDUCT. By participating in the Contest, each entrant agrees to be bound by the Contest Rules, which will be posted on the Sponsor’s Instagram Page and made available throughout the Contest Period via a link on the Sponsor/s Instagram Account bio. Entrant further agrees to be bound by the decisions of the Sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all respects. The Sponsor reserves the right, in their sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant found to be: (a) violating the Contest Rules; (b) tampering or attempting to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or the Sponsor’s Instagram Account; (c) violating the terms of service, conditions of use and/or general rules or guidelines of any online Kenvue Canada Inc. property or service; and/or (d) acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE SPONSOR’S INSTAGRAM PAGE OR ANY RELATED WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVEs THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.

  10. PRIVACY / USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION.
    (a) This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Instagram.  You understand that you are providing your information to Kenvue Canada Inc. and not to Instagram.

  11. Any information collected from the entrant by Sponsor is governed by the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy, which can be found at https://www.kenvue.com/privacy-policy/canada/en. By entering the Contest, an entrant grants Sponsor and their affiliates the right to use the information provided by the entrant for the purposes of administering the Contest and in any publicity and promotions related to the Contest. Entrant personal information will be used by Sponsor and its third party service providers inside and outside Quebec & Canada. By entering the Contest, entrant consents to the transfer of their data to jurisdictions outside their province and/or country of residence, which may have different data protection rules governing their personal information. If an Entrant opts-in to the use of their personal information for personalized advertising by the Sponsor, the Sponsor may use the information provided to deliver ads to Entrant about relevant products, programs and services across websites and devices. Entrant may withdraw their consent to this use at any time by following the instructions in the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy.

  12. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY. All intellectual property, including but not limited to trademarks, trade names, logos, designs, promotional materials, web pages, source code, drawings, illustrations, slogans and representations are owned by the Sponsor and/or their affiliates. All rights are reserved. Unauthorized copying or use of any copyrighted material or intellectual property without the express written consent of its owner is strictly prohibited. Johnson’s® is a registered trademark of Kenvue Inc.

  13. TERMINATION. Sponsor reserve the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate the Contest, in whole or in part, and/or modify, amend, or suspend the Contest, and/or the Contest Rules in any way, at any time, for any reason without prior notice.

  14. LAW. These are the official Contest Rules. The Contest is subject to applicable Canadian federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations. The Contest Rules are subject to change without notice in order to comply with any applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws or the policy of any other entity having jurisdiction over the Sponsor. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of the Contest Rules or the rights and obligations as between the entrant and the Sponsor in connection with the Contest shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the province of Ontario including procedural provisions without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of any other jurisdiction’s laws.

  15. LANGUAGE DISCREPANCY. In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the terms and conditions of the Contest Rules and disclosures or other statements contained in any Contest-related materials, including but not limited to the Contest entry form, or point of sale, television, print or online advertising, the terms and conditions of the Contest Rules shall prevail, govern, and control.
